To help our mission to provide an ever-changing line-up of talent, we enlist the help of a new Selection Committee for each edition. A team of art-world experts who bring their respective talents and differing perspectives, our committee chooses the final artist line-up from hundreds of applications. We’re delighted to introduce you to our May 2024 Committee.

Jeremy Biggers

Painter, Muralist, and Film-maker.

Jeremy Biggers is an award-winning creator who has made a name for himself as a painter, muralist, film-maker. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where he attended Booker T Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for painting and developed a love for photography, film-making and graphic design, which he later focused on in college.

Since then, Biggers has become known as “Dallas’ hardest working multi-hyphenate” (D Magazine). His work has also been showcased in galleries and exhibitions throughout the country.

Biggers’ artistic vision and versatility have led to partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the world, including IBM, Nike, Adidas, Jordan Brand, McDonalds, Meta, Major League Baseball, Paramount Pictures, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Fossil.

Whether he’s working on a canvas, on a wall, or behind a camera, Jeremy Biggers continues to push the boundaries of what it means to be an artist. His passion for his craft and his dedication to his community have made him one of the most respected and admired creators working today.

 

Audrey Wolfe

Assistant Curator at Saatchi Art

Audrey Wolfe is an Assistant Curator at Saatchi Art. She has an M.A. in Art History from the University of Kentucky and a B.A. in Art History from Centre College. Her favorite contemporary artists include Ai Weiwei, Eva Hesse, and El Anatsui.

Anna Meliksetian

Co-Owner of Gallery Meliksetian | Briggs

Anna Meliksetian is a gallery owner, writer, and lecturer.  Over her career in the art world, she has had various positions including gallerist, auction house specialist, critic and writer for art publications and lecturer of art history at the university level.  In 2010, she opened her first gallery, Galerie Anais at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA. In 2012, she opened Meliksetian | Briggs with her husband and partner, Michael Briggs in West Hollywood.  The gallery opened a Dallas location in 2023.

Nicole Garton

Global Fair Director at The Other Art Fair

Nicole Garton is Global Fair Director at The Other Art Fair, overseeing 12 live events annually across London, Sydney, Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles. She previously led marketing at Saatchi Art, where she was instrumental in the start-up’s transformation into the world’s leading online gallery. Following Saatchi Art’s acquisition of The Other Art Fair, she played a key role in the Fair’s US launch. Prior to joining Saatchi Art, Nicole worked in non-profit fund development, PR, and publishing, as well as in private and non-profit exhibition spaces, including the Santa Monica Museum of Art (now ICA-LA) and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE). She has over 10 years of experience working with emerging artists.
