A team of art-world experts who bring their respective talents and differing perspectives, our committee chooses the final artist line-up from hundreds of applications. Carlye Packer

Independent Art Dealer and Advisor

Carlye Packer is the founder of Carlye Packer Gallery, an independent contemporary art space in Echo Park, Los Angeles. After organizing a series of acclaimed pop-up exhibitions in spaces including artist Henry Taylor’s studio and the Roosevelt Hotel, she opened her permanent gallery space and has since built a reputation for sharp, risk-taking programming. The gallery has been featured in ARTnews and Contemporary Art Review LA, and has shown at Frieze Los Angeles and the Aspen Art Fair. Packer is recognized as one of LA’s most compelling emerging gallerists and a trusted champion of experimental, artist-forward work.

Essence Harden

Art Curator and Writer

Essence Harden is a Los Angeles-based curator and writer with a practice rooted in Black visual studies and contemporary art. Harden has curated exhibitions at the California African American Museum, the Orange County Museum of Art, Art + Practice, and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, and has contributed writing to Frieze Magazine, Gagosian Quarterly, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, and Art21. Most recently, Harden co-curated the Hammer Museum’s major biennial Made in LA 2025 and served as curator of the Focus section at Frieze Los Angeles from 2024 to 2026. A respected voice in the LA art community, Harden brings deep curatorial expertise and a strong commitment to elevating artists through rigorous, community-centered practice.

Siting Wang

Associate Curator at Saatchi Art

Siting Wang is an Associate Curator at Saatchi Art. She has a B.F.A. with emphasis in Arts Administration from School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an M.S. in Leadership for Creative Enterprises from Northwestern University. Prior to joining Saatchi Art, Siting had extensive curatorial experiences in galleries and art museums in Chicago and Beijing, including Inside-Out Art Museum and The Research House for Asian Art. Her favorite contemporary artists include Eva Hesse, Hugo McCloud, Olafur Eliasson, and GaHee Park.

Briana Salatino

Senior Fair Manager, The Other Art Fair

Briana Salatino is Senior Fair Manager at The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, where she oversees events across Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Dallas. Since joining the organization in 2018, she has worked with hundreds of emerging artists and coordinated projects spanning fair programming, brand partnerships, and onsite exhibitions. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations & Advertising and Italian Studies, with a minor in Sociology, from Chapman University.
