To help our mission to provide an ever-changing line-up of talent, we enlist the help of a new Selection Committee for each edition. A team of art-world experts who bring their respective talents and differing perspectives, our committee chooses the final artist line-up from hundreds of applications. We’re delighted to introduce you to our February 2025 Committee.

Bettina Hubby
Hubby’s art expresses her interest in metaphysical and spiritual principles, arm in arm with her devotion to creating out-of-the-box experiences. She has explored a myriad of topics with humor in tow, including: the power of words, an artful deep dive into marriage, breast cancer’s upside, an eagle and rock shop in eagle rock, a multi-tiered celebration for construction workers, and a sexual bronze show showcasing pairings from the grocery store.
Dominique Clayton
Dominique Clayton is an arts consultant, writer, and gallerist born and raised in Los Angeles. Clayton is the founder of Dominique Gallery, a storefront turned pop-up exhibition and online program which showcases and advises emerging artists with a focus on marginalized artists and artists raising families. In addition to the gallery, Clayton also serves on the curatorial and programming committee of Destination Crenshaw, a forthcoming outdoor art museum and arts program based in the historic Crenshaw community of Los Angeles. Clayton previously worked as Manager of the Founding Director’s office at The Broad and later as an interim director at Jeffrey Deitch Gallery. Her arts writing has been featured in publications including Cultured Magazine, LALA Magazine, Artsy, Sugarcane Magazine, Blavity, and her own forthcoming Black Arts Diary.
Herbert Mendoza
Herbert Mendoza is Assistant Director and Curator at Mixografia, publishers and printers of fine art editions. Most recently he curated PST ART: Expressive Surfaces: Collaboration and Innovation in Printmaking, which was included as part of the Getty’s PST Art: Art & Science Collide. He also curated Ed Ruscha: The Complete Mixografia Editions, a retrospective celebrating the 20 years of collaboration between Ed Ruscha and Mixografia. Mendoza’s curatorial projects focus on creating a platform for emerging contemporary printmakers.
Erin Remington
Director of Sales & Curation at Saatchi Art
Erin has over a decade of experience in fine arts. Erin is motivated by exceptional art and working with collectors to select pieces that inspire and elevate their spaces. She believes that art has the ability to inform, inspire, educate, and change how we view the world around us.
Nicole Garton
Global Fair Director at The Other Art Fair
Nicole Garton is Global Fair Director at The Other Art Fair, overseeing 12 live events annually across London, Sydney, Brooklyn, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles. She previously led marketing at Saatchi Art, where she was instrumental in the start-up’s transformation into the world’s leading online gallery. Following Saatchi Art’s acquisition of The Other Art Fair, she played a key role in the Fair’s US launch. Prior to joining Saatchi Art, Nicole worked in non-profit fund development, PR, and publishing, as well as in private and non-profit exhibition spaces, including the Santa Monica Museum of Art (now ICA-LA) and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE). She has over 10 years of experience working with emerging artists.

Leslie Fram
Leslie Fram is an advocate for emerging artists in LA, collecting their works for 20+ years and curating exhibitions celebrating their art. Just last year, Leslie founded the Emerging Artist Program for VENICE FAMILY CLINIC’s Art Walk; and later in 2023, she launched The MFAs of LA at GOOD MOTHER GALLERY, downtown LA, an annual survey to be held each November that showcases works by our city’s best graduate art school talent. As of last month, Leslie’s show at Yiwei Gallery in Venice featured local emerging artists as well. Come 2025, Leslie will be a judge at The Other Art Fair, an artists-run art fair taking place at the Santa Monica Barker Hangar.
Leslie holds a BA in Art History from Barnard College, an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University as well as a Certificate of Art from The Parsons School, all in NYC. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2005, she has been a donor to local museums and their associated councils including LACMA, MOCA, LAXART, and the Hammer Museum, where she was a founding member of their Kids’ Art Museum Project (KAMP), working as a liaison with LA-based emerging artists.
Beyond her passion for art, Leslie’s wide of array of interests are displayed throughout her career history, having been: a Trends Editor at national magazines including New York; a business development media executive for The Hearst Corp.’s interactive division; a self-help author published by HarperCollins; a women’s clothing designer for Sphynx, Ltd., a company she co-founded; a waste-to-energy management consultant; and a ballet dancer with the New York City Ballet.
Beth Tully
Beth Tully is the Founder and Creative Director of The Get, an art advisory and web-based gallery specializing in original works on paper and limited-edition digital prints under $1000. Established in 2020, The Get is reimagining the art of collecting for modern life.
A former Director of Fountain Art Fair, her passion lies in making art accessible, building connections between creators & collectors and identifying opportunities for collaboration & discovery. Beth’s career has spanned artist management, partnership cultivation, marketing & communications, nonprofit leadership, gallery management, event production and consulting from coast to coast.
Beth lives in Brooklyn, New York and holds a degree in Art History from Hunter College.

Tanya Aguiñiga
Artist and Founder of AMBOS
Tanya Aguiñiga was born in 1978 in San Diego, California, and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. An artist and craftsperson, Aguiñiga works with traditional craft materials like natural fibers and collaborates with other artists and activists to create sculptures, installations, performances, and community-based art projects. Drawing on her upbringing as a binational citizen, who daily crossed the border from Tijuana to San Diego for school, Aguiñiga’s work speaks of the artist’s experience of her divided identity and aspires to tell the larger and often invisible stories of the transnational community. She is the founder of AMBOS (Art Made Between Opposite Sides), an ongoing series of projects that provides a platform for binational artists. She was recently awarded the Latinx Art Forum: Latinx Artist Fellowship (2022), Heinz Award (2021), and American’s for the Arts Johnson Fellowship for Artists Transforming Communities (2018). Her work is in the collection of the Hammer Museum, LACMA, Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt and Renwick Museums, and the Museum of Art and Design among others.
Yiwei Lu
Founder and Curator, Yiwei Gallery
Yiwei Lu is the founder of Yiwei Gallery in Los Angeles. She earned a BA in film production from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology from the University of Southern California. As an independent curator, she has successfully led curatorial projects internationally, spanning the United States, France, Italy, and China. In 2019, Yiwei established Yiwei Gallery, a dedicated space in Los Angeles aimed at showcasing artists from diverse backgrounds and fostering their artistic development. Alongside her curatorial responsibilities, Yiwei is also a filmmaker and writer, contributing over thirty articles to two reputable art magazines.
