Curious encounters ahead.

See what we’ve got in store for you November 6-9.

AN ART EXPERIENCE UNLIKE ANY OTHER

Experiences for you to discover and immerse yourself in.

GO BIG OR GO HOME!

Larger-than-life installations are taking over the fair — perfect for your camera roll, your curiosity, and your inner art lover. Look up, lean in, and let yourself be amazed.

Splendour by Atelier Sisu

A floating sculpture inspired by the fleeting magic of sunlight. Though sunlight is pure white — made up of every color of the rainbow — it shifts as it meets our atmosphere, turning warm at dawn and cool at dusk.

Splendor mirrors this celestial dance, scattering and blending color through its dichroic discs that hover weightlessly overhead. By day, it shimmers with reflected light; by night, it glows in a kaleidoscope of animated hues — a reminder that even light itself is an ever-changing work of art.

Kinetic Sculptures by Hypersonic [Art & Design]

Lose yourself in motion with not one, but two mesmerizing kinetic installations by Hypersonic. These sculptural works pulse, spin, and shimmer in rhythmic motion — perfect for anyone who loves getting lost in the soothing, ASMR-like experience of art that moves.

BALCONES DISTILLING

The Other Art Fair continues its partnership with award-winning Balcones Distilling to celebrate the artistry of whisky-making and the deep connection between craftsmanship and creativity.

Now in its third year, the Spirit of Balcones: Artist in Residence program remains the cornerstone of Balcones’ creative partnership with The Other Art Fair, with a new cohort of artists coming in 2026. Established to support artists who defy convention and expand the way we see the world, the program mirrors the same bold, boundary-pushing ethos that defines Balcones’ approach to whisky-making in Texas.

With backgrounds in art, music, and writing, and led by a head distiller who is also a master ceramicist, the Balcones team is artists first, distillers second. For them, whisky is a canvas: a balance of science and soulful expression shaped by the ever-changing rhythms of the Texas climate. Their deep and bright whiskies invite us to savor the present moment and see whisky from a new perspective.

This partnership celebrates the creative possibility that arises when passion meets purpose, whether in the studio or the stillhouse. Together, Balcones and The Other Art Fair champion originality, self-expression, and the spirit of discovery.

Attendees can meet members of the Balcones Distilling team, enjoy signature craft cocktails, and sample award-winning American Single Malts, each a bold expression that could only come from Texas.

The (Brooklyn ) Cloisters – Bar Installation

The Cloisters are moving to Brooklyn! Re-imagined with a modern edge. This ephemeral, temporary exhibit invites you to wander through a dreamlike world where medieval artifacts collides with contemporary art. A fleeting experience where beauty, history, and rebellion intertwine.

The bar design features “relics” and “ancient” art that is made by Richard Hoffman and Adam Rose. The artworks are re-imaginings traditional works in modern materials or styles. Works will be available for purchase.

Portraits; Destroyed

Book a personalized portrait session with Adam Rose, who captures and hand-rubs your image onto a page of abstract color harmony. The final work is then radically transformed by Richard Hoffman, whose graffiti-infused intervention tears through tradition—defacing, and deconstructing your portrait.

Portraits sessions are $250 each.

Blind Date with an Artwork

They say love is blind. Do you think you’re daring enough to buy an artwork sight unseen? Each work will be labeled to creatively describe the hidden gem, and priced $200 and under.

ARTISAN EDIT

New this Fall, the Artisan Edit will showcase three local studios that are creative hubs which focus on decorative artwork made by local Brooklyn artists.

Support these organizations and their artists as their missions are to bring more creativity into our everyday lives.

Participants Include; Clay Space, Dirtbag ArtHaus and Textile Arts Center

EVELYN GARDINER

Evelyn Gardiner is based in New York City. She received her BA at Sarah Lawrence College in 2019 where she concentrated in oil painting and printmaking. Her work explores the relationship between nature’s cycles and human spirituality. Reflecting on personal experiences, she explores the persistence of nature, the beauty, pain, and resilience it embodies, and the dualism that intertwines the earthly with the divine. She hopes to capture the interplay between the fragile and the eternal, offering a reflection on the shared cycles that shape all living things.
