Tarot as a Mirror: Workshop Times

Tarot as a Mirror is a participatory art workshop that invites visitors to explore tarot as a visual and psychological language rather than a tool for predicting the future. Through a short, accessible introduction and a guided creative exercise, participants create their own tarot card inspired by an archetype they feel drawn to.

Blending storytelling, symbolism, and intuitive drawing, the workshop offers a reflective and engaging experience, with each participant leaving with a personal artwork designed to feel inspiring and empowering. The session is inclusive, contemporary, and artistic, appealing both to those familiar with tarot and those encountering it for the first time.

Art of Ping Pong – Gallery Of Play

Art of Ping Pong is a British design studio creating sculptural objects of play.

Working at the intersection of art, design and play, the studio creates beautifully made, conversation-starting pieces — from wall-mounted tables and nets to bats, accessories and artist editions — all designed to be played with and lived with.

Art of Ping Pong exists to challenge the idea that play is something we grow out of. Its work brings moments of joy, connection and spontaneity into everyday spaces, reframing play as an essential part of how we live.

Working in small batches and limited editions, the studio collaborates with artists, designers and cultural brands to create objects that blur the line between functional art and playable design.

At The Other Art Fair, Art of Ping Pong presents a live installation of art you can play on. Visitors are invited to play, compete, and browse a curated selection of works available to purchase.

Art of Ping Pong – Take a Piece Home

Once you’ve experienced Art of Ping Pong, you may want to take a piece of it home. Throughout the fair, visitors can browse and purchase a curated selection of Art of Ping Pong works, including Art of Ping Pong studio pieces alongside collaborations with artists Kelly Anna and Jamel Armand.

ArtTables purchased at the fair will be shipped directly to buyers at no additional cost.

Charity Partner: Arts Emergency

Arts Emergency helps young people get a fair start in the arts and humanities.

Arts Emergency is a grassroots movement that opens doors for underrepresented young people with creative ambitions, by connecting them to each other and to creative professionals.

Founded in 2013 by comedian Josie Long and activist Neil Griffiths, the organisation has helped over 2,200 young people in the UK access and thrive in creativity and culture by providing a long-term combined programme of mentorship, networking and real-world opportunities.

Young talent is everywhere.

Equal opportunities are not.

Someone from privilege is four times more likely to succeed in the cultural and creative sectors than someone from a working class background. Young people with disabilities, or those who come from ethnic minority backgrounds are even less likely to work in creative fields. This hasn’t changed since the 1980s.

Why? Because of extensive cuts to creative education funding at all levels; spiraling university fees; the systemic expectation of unpaid work; ‘who you know’ recruitment, and growing financial precocity in already under-served communities.

Arts Emergency has done more for me than ever thought possible, it has opened doors I thought were closed.

Nick White – Which way is up?

In his activation, ‘Which way is up?’ Nick White has created 4 bespoke Rubber stamps which have been set up throughout the fair. It is up to the visitor to locate each stamp station in order.

Each stamp station has a different colour ink pad and can be printed one of two ways by turning the stamp 180 degrees. Meaning there are multiple ways of creating your very own bespoke 4 colour print to take away with you.

Joe Boyd’s Scan Factory

Join artist Joe Boyd at an interactive station to produce your own mixed media print. Choose your material and move it across the scanner to copy, distort and create unexpected textures. Watch as the printer translates your experimentation into a one-of-a-kind poster for you to take away.

Rooted in Joe’s practice of transforming everyday objects into art, the Scan Factory explores reproduction and the strange beauty of imperfection.

Blind Date With An Artwork

After successful runs at our US Fairs where visitors were daring enough to purchase works without seeing them, we are excited to bring Blind Date with an Artwork to the London edition.

They say love is blind. This playful installation invites visitors to take a leap of faith and purchase artworks, unseen. Inspired by the popular ‘Blind Date with a Book’ concept, each artwork is wrapped and labelled with a poetic clue, hinting at the hidden gem within. All works are priced at £150 or under, making collecting accessible, spontaneous and fun. Set against the buzz of the Fair, removing overthinking and rewarding curiosity. Visitors surrender control, embrace surprise, and leave with a one-of-a-kind artwork, and a great story. Perfect for first-time buyers, seasoned collectors, and anyone craving a risk.

NEW ON THE SCENE

Art should never be elite.

The New Futures programme is part of our continued mission to break down traditional barriers of the contemporary art world by giving a space to talented, often underrepresented, emerging artists. Each recipient is given free exhibition space at The Other Art Fair along with access to networks and opportunities designed to jump-start their careers.

The Winner for the March 2026 edition is Kate Hall.

Kate Hall

Kate Hall is a painter and filmmaker. She has recently graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a BA in Painting and Printmaking.

Hall’s practice focuses on rural landscapes, specifically those onto which agricultural and industrial architecture has been pressed into the surface. Having grown up on a small farm in East Wales she is interested in the cultural perception of landscape as an inert pastoral background and seeks to contradict this in her work. She does this by painting into rural scenes an undercurrent of dread in the form of fluorescent grounds and darkening sky, giving her landscapes a supernatural presence.

Hall’s paintings express a mechanized experience of nature, paintings which give similar immediacy and fluidity as the experience of moving through the countryside, watching the landscape as if it were a film. Scenes dip in and out of view; trees jump forward and suddenly flung back into the distance, revealing long stretches of flooded fields.

Experience the Magic of Freddie’s Flowers
