Everybody Draw Everybody

Everybody Draw Everybody is a nationally-touring group portrait swap run by Miami-based artist, Brian Butler.

In each session, twelve participants will have 3 minutes each to draw one another, which is a challenge for artists of all skill levels. The result is a collection of wild portraits and new pals!

This add-on experience is $20 per person. Grab a friend and book your day/time when you purchase your fair tickets. Say “why not?” and get in touch with your own creativity.

Session Times:

Thursday 7:30-8:30pm

Friday 7:30-8:30pm

Saturday 1-2pm and 4-5pm

Sunday 1-2pm and 4-5pm

Make a Portrait, Take a Portrait

Does drawing 11 portraits of strangers, each in the span of 3 minutes, sound a bit intimidating? Don’t sweat it! Modeled after Ivan Cash’s Strangers Drawing Strangers project, Make a Portrait, Take a Portrait allows participants to draw someone’s photo from the wall at their own pace, then have their photo taken to be drawn by someone else in succession. Have a seat and let the creative juices flow!

Aura Portraits by Mad Watson

What does your soul look like? What color are you—and why? Find out with Mad Watson as she intuitively feels and translates your aura into an abstract watercolor painting. Each color, shape, and line will be carefully explained, revealing how it reflects aspects of your personality. Aura Portraits are available all weekend long, priced at $55 per person on a first come first serve basis.

“I Love Art” Stamp Scavenger Hunt by Joe Kraft

Visitors are invited to participate in an engaging scavenger hunt that combines exploration, creativity, and artistry. As they navigate the fair, they will encounter 4 Stamp Stations strategically placed around the venue. Each station features a unique stamp, and together, the stamps form parts of a larger, cohesive image designed by Chicago-based artist Joe Kraft.  All works of art start with an idea before they become fully realized pieces. It is your job to stamp an image to completion before you leave the fair.

*This experience is available while supplies last.

New Futures Awardee: Patrick Chuka

Art should never be elite.

The New Futures program is part of our continued mission to break down traditional barriers of the contemporary art world by giving prizing to talented, often underrepresented, emerging artists. Each recipient is given free exhibition space at The Other Art Fair along with access to networks and opportunities designed to jump-start their careers.

Patrick Chuka (b. 2000, Lagos, Nigeria) is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and cultural thinker whose work explores the intersection of African heritage, global identity, and the shared language of humanity. Working primarily in pen and pencil, Chuka creates lifelike portraits that center beauty, spirit, and emotion—offering a counter-narrative to dominant visual histories.

Rooted in a deep connection to his Nigerian origins, yet shaped by global travels and philosophical inquiry, Chuka’s practice reflects a continuous evolution. His art is not only a reflection of self but a vessel for reimagining culture, compassion, and consciousness. Through his art series, he fuses tradition with futurism, challenging viewers to see the sacred in the contemporary and the universal in the intimate.

Now based in the Texas, U.S., Chuka also writes, curates, and builds transformative experiences across digital, physical, and immersive platforms—blurring the lines between art, activism, and storytelling.
