Guest Artist: Danny Cortes
Step into a world where the gritty charm of 90s New York City comes to life in miniature at The Other Art Fair Brooklyn. Bushwick-based viral miniatures artist Danny Cortes, known for his hyper-detailed urban dioramas, invites you to relive the hustle, heart, and diverse energy of the city that never sleeps with his exhibition, Tiny Streets, Big Stories: The Essence of NYC.
Cortes captures the pulse of a bygone era in meticulously crafted dioramas of quintessential New York moments, from a classic bodega storefront to a bustling subway station, all rendered with astonishing realism. Every crack in the sidewalk, every piece of graffiti, and every weathered sign has been carefully sculpted to evoke the city’s authentic character.
This activation isn’t just about viewing art—it’s about experiencing the city through the eyes of someone who knows it intimately and invites you to see the beauty in its smallest details. By the end of the experience, attendees will walk away with a deeper connection to New York City, inspired by the stories etched into its streets.

Heart of Dinner
Heart of Dinner addresses food insecurity and loneliness among Asian American older adults in NYC’s under-resourced and underinvested communities. We deliver weekly care packages filled with hot lunches and fresh produce, each paired with a handwritten letter in their native language, bringing comfort and connection.
Founded at the onset of the pandemic, Heart of Dinner nourishes the body, heart, and soul of our Elders. Thoughtfully packed in beautifully hand-illustrated bags, each care package includes culturally thoughtful foods and love notes that celebrate and honor our community. We serve Elders throughout NYC, supporting both the individuals we reach and the local small businesses within their neighborhoods.
Join us at our booth to experience the love, care, and cultural connection we bring to our Elders every week!
Gyeo-ul (겨울) – Limited Edition Risograph Print

By Erin Jang @theindigobunting
Five-color risograph print
10.5×13.5”
Edition of 200

Gyeo-ul (“winter” in Korean) is inspired by the ritual of sharing food as a balm in the colder months. Winter citrus like pomelo and clementines that I peel for my children, and scallion, ginger, garlic, and enoki mushrooms — aromatics for homemade soups and jjigaes — remind me of the many ways we can nourish one another.
