As part of our Greener Future 2019 challenge, Beccy McCray will be exhibiting her playful installation ‘Full Circle’.  First exhibited in 2014 at ONCA Gallery, it uses tens of thousands of reclaimed ‘hole-punches’ (the tiny, circular pieces of paper collected by hole-punchers which are usually discarded) to simulate snow. This physically immersive installation is a reflection on consumption and the vast amount of waste generated over the festive season - and the impact this has on our fragile environment.

Alongside a stellar spread of cutting-edge contemporary art commissioned exclusively for the event (and available to purchase), upon entering the Creative Giants’ space, visitors to The Other Art Fair will be transported into an immersive realm, where perhaps nothing is how it first seems.

Expect to be wowed by super-size street art, 360 degree VR, immersive visuals, and interactive digital art and many more surprises. You’ll even be able to place yourself inside a painting, through the wonders of augmented reality.

Aida Wilde: Artist, printmaker, educator and social-warrior, Wilde has a created an exclusive strictly time-limited edition print available only to the attendees of The Other Art Fair, and only for the duration of the fair.

We Are Midnight: Interact with and take control of the art you are viewing, with these stunning images that respond to movement and brain waves.

Tim Minter: Minter's series of internet connected pieces, Thing of the Internet, is a reaction to the Internet of Things, and the possibilities it opens up to the visual arts. The digital world becomes present in the real world via his new scientific instruments of the age.

VR Craftworks: A limited edition (200 per day) augmented reality experience: enter the painting.

Adam Neate: A leading light in UK street Art, Adam will also giving away one of his works to the lucky lottery ticket holder, with all profits going to the Big Issue.

Doug Foster: Doug’s immersive and visceral video work, based on elements of nature, is visually stunning showcasing his working knowledge of the human visual system.

Demsky: The street art sensation will be dressing the Creative Giant space, as well as selling original works.

Bringing their fresh, delicious Poke to the Truman Brewery, Island Poke will be onsite all weekend. The ‘Poké Bowl’ is made up of Poké, a fresh classic Hawaiian dish of cubed, marinated fish and a base of rice or slaw topped with seaweeds, fruit salsas, pickles and garnishes.

Step inside the fair through a colourful entrance installation designed by Australian born, Bristol based artist Anna Higgie. Anna will also be selling prints and illustrations.

Ever wanted to apologise for something from your past? Well look no further...Rebecca Mason returns to the fair with her NHS (AKA Neon Health Service) Department of Light Therapy installation The Sorry Stall, and a chance to cleanse you of your sorry sins.  A selection of the (best and worst) apologies will then become a part of the ‘I am sorry’ neon to be released later in 2019.

Younger visitors can unleash their artistic flair and participate in creative art activities and crafty challenges suitable for all ages.
